Friday 19 March 2021

Alexandre Rambaud, co-director and co-founder of the Ecological Accounting Chair, has been appointed Louis Bachelier Academic Fellow at the Institut Louis Bachelier (ILB) for a period of 4 years. Studies, discussions and debates on ecological accounting will also be led by the Chair, as part of the ILB’s Major Interdisciplinary Research Programme on Green and Sustainable Finance.

The ILB was created in 2008, on the initiative of the French Treasury and the CDC. It aims to engage academics, businesses and public authorities in research programmes as well as in scientific events and other exchange forums on the deployment of sustainable development in economics and finance.

The Louis Bachelier Fellows community brings together researchers and practitioners.
Coming from the academic or business world, the Fellows are personalities recognised for their activities or for their interest in research related to one of the Institute’s themes (since 2012: banking transitions, societal transitions, environmental transitions, digital transitions).

"The Louis Bachelier Fellows constitute :
- A community of exchange and mutual support between peers allowing Fellows to develop at different stages of their career, whether they are researchers or practitioners
A means of opening up research and disseminating its results to society (general public, media, public and private decision-makers on a national and international scale)
- A place for debate and foresight aimed at identifying new research topics and fields.
The Louis Bachelier Fellows promote transversality, multidisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity in their research themes and methods
".
